Buck Harris spent 16 years as a successful small business owner in Connecticut. When it was time to change direction from restaurateur to consultant, he earned his MBA from Quinnipiac University and transitioned immediately into a business and lending advisory role with Community Investment Corporation. As Sr. Vice President of lending at CIC, Buck was well known for leveraging his expertise and his creativity to help hundreds of business owners get SBA financing to start or grow their businesses throughout New England.
After 15 years at CIC, Buck and his family moved to South Carolina, where he recently transitioned into full-time business advisory work with the Hoo Harris Group. He currently accepts new clients looking to start or grow their businesses in the CSRA.

Helena Harris

Helena brings over 25 years of business expertise to the Hoo Harris Group. Her career began in software sales, but quickly evolved into corporate marketing and communications roles for IT companies in New York and Boston. She eventually combined her corporate skill set with her experience in the equine industry, where she now provides business advisory services to barn owners, professional riders, retailers, manufacturers, and more. From business modeling and planning, to marketing and management, Helena’s knowledge of niche industries make her an invaluable asset to any small business owner looking for profitability, balance, and sustainability.
Helena has a degree in Environmental Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey where her focus was on wildlife management and public policy. In her spare time, she rides and trains her three horses as recreational sport mounts.
